Tooth-Colored Fillings

Do metal fillings detract from your natural, white smile? An attractive appearance can open doors of opportunity in romance and career, and an all-white smile only enhances your possibilities.

Cosmetic dentist Dr. Strober recommends replacing cracked or dark silver/amalgam restorations with white fillings made of composite resin or porcelain inlays and onlays. Not only do white fillings look more attractive, but they do not contain mercury, so they are totally safe. If you need a filling, Dr. Strober will conservatively remove dental decay from your teeth, and then place shaded composite resin into the cavities. A curing light hardens the material, and we'll check your bite to make sure the filling fits comfortably. When you look in the mirror, you probably won't be able to tell which tooth has the new filling!

Call Dr. Strober in our Hillcrest office today to make your appointment. He will inspect your existing dental work, check for new tooth decay, and recommend the best option for your unique case. Our location is convenient to professionals working in Downtown San Diego.
